Report Email and Phishing:

Spam: Forward spam that is phishing for information to spam@uce.gov and to the company, bank, or organization impersonated in the phishing email. Most organizations have information on their websites about where to report problems.

Phishing: US-CERT partners with the Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG) to collect phishing email messages and website locations to help people avoid becoming victims of phishing scams. The Anti-Phishing Working Group is a consortium of ISPs, security vendors financial institutions and law enforcement agencies that use phishing complaint reports to fight phishing.

  • You can report phishing to the Anti-Phishing Working Group by sending email to CERT at phishing-report@us-cert.cisa.gov
  • You also may report phishing email directly to the APWG by sending email to: reportphishing@antiphishing.org.
  • You can also report email fraud to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) ReportFraud.ftc.gov
